Abstract: The Mathematics Graduate School Open House is a chance for 2010 applicants to visit campus and learn more about graduate study in the Department of Mathematics. University of Illinois students who are contemplating graduate school in the future are also invited to attend.

What is a Fractional Derivative?
Abstract: We answer this question by taking a slow guided tour from high school math to microlocal analysis.
