Equivariant cohomology of Hessenberg varieties
Abstract: Hessenberg varieties are a family of subvarieties of the full flag variety including the Springer variety, the Peterson variety, and the full flag variety. Using methods developed by Goresky and MacPherson I will give a unified description of the equivariant cohomology of the regular nilpotent Hessenberg varieties as coordinate rings of line arrangements.
