Finite von Neumann algebras by examples
Abstract: In this talk, we shall set up the basic notions in finite von Neumann algebra theory. After providing some examples to illustrate, I will relate these notions in q-gaussian algebra context to set up the preliminaries for q-gaussian algebra.

Partial D-groups in differential Galois theory
Abstract: The talk will introduce differential-algebraic prolongations relative to some (parametric) set of derivations. We will discuss how the differential groups equipped with an integrable section to their prolongation, encode first-order equations that describe generalized strongly normal extensions in partial differential fields.
