My previous affiliations, before moving the the University of Illinois, are as follows:

From 1991 through 1997 I was an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. However, in Fall 1996, I was on leave for a semester at UIUC. I visited GANG, at UMass, for the spring semester 1995. I spent six months at MSRI in fall 1993, I was a postdoc at the Geometry Center from 1990 to 1993.

I received my PhD in math at Princeton in 1990, under Fred Almgren. I studied math for one year, 1985-86, at King's College, Cambridge. I received my AB from Harvard in 1985. I graduated from Princeton High School in 1981.
