In Madrid, the Atocha railway station, and the city hall
(in the plaza Puerta del Sol) look especially nice
in the afternoon sunlight.
Salamanca is known for its university, with an elaborate
red facade on the main building dating from the time
of Los Reyes Catholicos (Ferdinand and Isabella),
and for the yellow stone used for many other buildings
like those around the Plaza Mayor.
