The Picos de Europa, mountains in Asturia in northern Spain,
have nice trails for day hikes. My hike started at the
Lago de Ercina (1100m) and went up to a refuge at 1650m.
Along the way were many cows, sheep and goats, as well
as nice wildflowers.
