I decorated the sculpture for Christmas with a red straw
garland, which forms a trefoil knot.
Brent Collins visited Urbana to give a talk in the
series Math in Science and Society
on December 5, 2000. He brought wood masters for
several of his new sculptures.
Afterwards, I held a party for Brent at my house.
